Siddh Hospital was setup in the year 2017 in the city of Moradabad. The hospital is located on the Kanth Road in the Harthala Industrial Area of Moradabad in India’s most populous state of Uttar Pradesh. The 200 Bedded Hospital offers Superspecialty services in the fields of Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Joint Replacement, Spine Surgery, Cancer Surgery, Pulmonology, Urology, Gastroenterology and Critical Care. Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) is the largest association of Doctors, Nurses and other specialized health care professionals involved in caring critically ill patients.
There are various courses run by this society, IDCCN (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Nursing) is a specialized training course for nurses which helps to ameliorate and expertise with advanced skill and knowledge. The course is certified by ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical care Medicine). During the period, the nurses will be under the supervision of critical care team and nursing education team.
This course is designed to assist students in developing expertise and knowledge in the field of Critical Care Nursing. It will help students to develop advanced skills for nursing intervention in caring for critically ill patients.
Aim and Objective of the Course
At the end of the course the students will be able to:
- Analyse and understand trends and issues related to Critical Care Nursing.
- Describe the etiology, pathophysiology and diagnostic assessment of common critical
- Describe the various drugs used in critical care by nurses -Responsibility in their
- Demonstrate advanced skills/competencies in managing critically ill patients including Advance Cardiac Life
- Demonstrate skill in handling various equipment used in
- Do pain assessment and
- Identify complications & take appropriate
- Support patients and their family to cope with emotional distress, grief and anxiety
- Assist in various diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures
- Identify the sources of stress and manage burnout syndrome among health care
- Design a layout of ICU and develop standards for critical care nursing
- Provide quality care to critically ill
- Teach nurses, allied health professionals and family members about areas related to critical care nursing.
COURSE DETAILS
- Duration: 1 year
· No. of seats: 4
- Academic Requirement: Pass in GNM/BSc Nursing/Post BSc/MSc Nursing with at least 50%
- Mode of Selection: On the basis of marks scored for GNM/BSc Nursing/Post BSc/MSc Nursing and in the qualifying examination and personal interview.

- Character and conduct certificate issued by the HOD of the institution last studied
- Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination conducted by Siddh Students will have to bear the cost thereof.
- Students are required to undergo vaccination as per the hospital rule at their own.
CONDUCT OF THE CANDIDATES

- The students shall abide by all the rules and regulations prescribed for
- They shall conduct themselves in an exemplary manner without any disturbance to the patients or
- Further, students are bound to keep all information pertaining to patients that may come to their knowledge during their clinical postings in patient care areas,
- Students are expected to enter the hospital premises in decent attire and hygienic
- They have to wear ID cards/badges within the hospital premises and outside the hospital while on duty/training.
- Every student shall carry out the assignments allotted to
